SoulMatch

Terms

Last updated 5 August 2026

SoulMatch is run by AALPrep. By creating a profile you are agreeing to what follows. We have tried to keep it short and to say the awkward parts out loud.

What the service is

We are a marriage bureau with a database. A person reads profiles, looks for a suitable pair, and writes to both families. There is no feed to browse, no search, and no open messaging between members.

It is for people seeking marriage within ISKCON and similar communities. It is not a dating service.

Who can join

You must be 18 or over and legally free to marry. Profiles may be created by the person themselves or by a parent or guardian acting for them, with their knowledge.

What you tell us must be true

Families make serious decisions on the strength of these answers. Give accurate information about your age, marital status, education, occupation and family. Use recent photographs of yourself and nobody else. We may suspend or remove a profile we believe to be false, and we will remove one impersonating another person.

What is free

Creating a profile, being considered for matches, and hearing from us about a match are free, and will remain so. Declining a match is free and always will be.

Membership

Taking a match further requires a membership. We ask families to support the service according to their capacity, and we settle the amount with each family rather than publishing a price list. If a contribution would be difficult, tell us — it is reduced or waived, and it changes nothing about how carefully we look for you.

A membership is not a subscription. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. While it is running we will send you every match we think is genuinely suitable.

What it pays for is our work, not a result. We cannot promise a marriage, an engagement, or any particular number of introductions — that depends on who is registered, what you are looking for, and how two families get on. If you feel a membership was not honoured, write to us and we will refund it.

How an introduction happens

We propose a match to both families at the same time, with the same details and the same honest reservations, and without contact information. Each family answers for itself. Only when both have agreed do we pass on contact details, and then we step back — what happens next is between the two families.

Verification is a check, not a guarantee

Where a badge appears we have confirmed something — an email, a phone number, or a temple or counsellor who says they know you. That is a reasonable check; it is not a promise about a person's character, intentions or circumstances. Meet carefully, involve your family, and take the ordinary precautions you would take anyway.

We do not ask for government identity documents and we do not hold any. Our assurance comes from your community, which is the assurance that carries weight here.

How to behave

Treat other families with the courtesy you would want. Do not misrepresent yourself, harass anyone, pass another member’s details on without their permission, or use anything you learn here for any purpose other than seeking marriage. Report anyone who does, and we will act.

Leaving

You may delete your profile at any time from Settings, and we do not keep your data afterwards — see the privacy page for exactly what goes. We may suspend or remove a profile that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.

Limits

We provide the service carefully but as it is. We are not responsible for what another member tells you, for what happens after an introduction, or for a marriage that does or does not follow. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms materially we will say so on this page and date it. Write to soulmatch@aalprep.com with any question. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
